Blanche has made clear his intent to weaponize the Department of Justice (DOJ) to further attack abortion access nationwide and interfere with states\u2019 ability to protect reproductive freedom -- including calling for the Supreme Court\u2019s decision in <\/span>Dobbs v. Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization<\/span><\/i> to be made \u2018permanent in every single state.\u2019 Under this administration, the DOJ has refused to enforce the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, jeopardizing the safety of health care providers who face violence and harassment. Now, Blanche has committed to working with the White House to restrict the mailing of mifepristone and using the Comstock Act to limit access to medication abortion broadly, including in states where it is legal. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\nThe Reproductive Freedom Alliance calls on Todd Blanche, in his new role as Attorney General, to fairly enforce the law and uphold fundamental freedoms.
